Fire-retardant ablative coating
COR FR COAT I/A is a single-component intumescent paint designed to seal fire protection penetrations with non-flammable electrical conduits and cables. The coating formed by this paint swells when exposed to heat, creating a protective layer on the surface being protected. The coating protects system components in penetrations up to fire resistance class EI 240. (details as per reference documents)
APPLICATION:
COR FR COAT I/A is intended for the protection of non-flammable pipes in floors and walls of fire-resistant partitions and electrical cables/conduit in walls.
FLEXIBLE WALLS:
The wall must be at least 125 mm thick and have a steel profile structure clad on both sides with a minimum of 2 layers of 12.5 mm thick panels.
RIGID WALLS:
The wall must be at least 150 mm thick and have a concrete, aerated concrete, or masonry structure, with a minimum density of 600 kg/m³
RIGID FLOORS:
The floor must be at least 150 mm thick and consist of concrete, aerated concrete, or masonry, with a minimum density of 1700 kg/m³.
