Couplers for Cryogenic Reinforcing Bars<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The CTT range of tapered-thread couplers is designed for use in applications where cryogenic-grade reinforcing bars are being used. Typical construction projects include storage tanks for liquefied natural gas (LNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), in accordance with EN 14620-3.<\/p>\n

Structures in accordance with EN 14620-3<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Ancon CTT couplers are ideal for use in structures built in accordance with EN 14620-3:2006. This standard specifies the requirements for materials, design, and construction of all structural components for in-situ, vertical, cylindrical, bottom-mounted storage or refrigeration tanks for liquefied gases operating at temperatures between 0\u00b0C \u2013165\u00b0C \u2013 BS EN 14620-3: 2006 superseded BS 7777-3: 1993.<\/p>\n

The CTT Range<\/strong><\/h2>\n

This range includes standard, positional, and transition couplers for rods with diameters from 12 to 32 mm. In all cases, the ends of the rods are cut before being taper-threaded to fit into the threaded coupler.
